2018 PBA Mock Draft 2.0: #7 to #12 Pick

#7 Ginebra - Jason Brickman
I expect Brickman to fall due to the depth of the point guard position. One team that badly needs a point guard is Ginebra. Brickman could immediately be the best facilitator in the PBA because of his experience, basketball IQ and passing.

#8 Rain or Shine - Andre Paras
Look out for Rain or Shine to target Andre Paras. Andre practiced with them in the past as an amateur. Andre's best skill right now is his rebounding. It is still a question though if he can really translate that in the pros against bigger and more skilled guys.

#9 Rain or Shine - Javee Mocon
Mocon is another one of those that can fill the stat-sheets in college but could have a hard time doing that in the Pros. Mocon averaged 13 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. His hustle and grit on both ends of the court are really high. He badly needs to develop scoring moves to be a long-term PBA player.

#10 Alaska - J-Jay Alejandro
Alejandro started his career as a shooting guard. But with what he showed in his last season in the UAAP, he is more than capable of playing the point. He averaged 16.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. Imagine Alaska with a do-it-all point guard who grinds on the defensive end?

#11 Magnolia - Prince Rivero
Magnolia will be delighted to find an available young promising big at #11. Prince produced 11.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 55.3% FG in his final season in the UAAP. With Marc Pingris and Rafi Reavis, Prince can be developed into something unique.

#12 San Miguel - Trevis Jackson
Jackson is lighting up the PBA D-League. That is the kind of player that San Miguel may want to add through the draft. There is also the fact that the point guard position of the Beermen is slowly aging.
