2019 Com. Cup Trade Targets of Ginebra, Northport, Columbian

We are now on the home stretch run of the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup. Teams are fighting for their lives and their seedings. Teams are also battling injuries and slumps.

One way to help their team moving forward is to make the right trades. Today, we will talk about Ginebra, Northport and Columbian. What type of player should they target?

Let us see.

GINEBRA - Shooter
Acquiring Stanley Pringle was an excellent move even if you only consider the fact that he is an elite shooter. But, I do not think they have enough shooting already. Even with Pringle's presence, they only have three guys who are shooting above 30% from beyond the arc.

NLEX has some interesting players that they can target. One is Kenneth Ighalo who is not only a shooter, 41% 3FG, but also a hardworking defender. Another is Bong Galanza. With his length, he should be able to play multiple positions.

NORTHPORT - A Veteran Bigman
Northport has one of the deepest teams in the league. They do not have an obvious need, especially with the acquisition of Kevin Ferrer, Jervy Cruz and Solomon Mercado. One thing that they can add that should help them in the playoffs is a bigman with a lot of playoff experience. Someone that can give tips to Moala Tautuaa and even Prince Ibeh.

The most interesting guy is Sonny Thoss. It seems like it will be a hard job pushing Alaska into giving up their long-time center but what if the Batang Pier offers two of their young bigs?

COLUMBIAN - A Bigman
A hole in the middle is not felt that much during the Commissioner's Cup because of the presence of imports. But we all know by now that you cannot succeed in the PBA without a reliable bigman. So, Dyip should look for one.

Northport has some interesting young bigman in Bradwyn Guinto, Joseph Gabayni and Lervyn Flores. Guinto could be the best target because he has the most reliable post scoring that should bode well with the stretch bigs of Dyip.
