There is no need to give a lifetime ban to Calvin Abueva

Other than the handful of trade buzzes around the league, the most intriguing issue is the Calvin Abueva saga. If you are not aware, Abueva is currently on an indefinite ban primarily due to his misconduct towards Bobby Ray Parks' girlfriend and his clothesline to Terrence Jones.

Now, the new rumor surrounding Calvin is that there is a possible move to permanently ban him from the PBA or from professional basketball, if the move is done by the Games and Amusement Board.

By the looks of it though, GAB doesn't need to do it because we have not heard about Calvin doing something about his indefinite suspension this month.

It is an indefinite ban that only the PBA can lift and will not end due to prescription or due to time span. The PBA commissioner has given a to-do-list for Calvin to finished so that he will consider lifting the suspension.

It seems like Calvin is not doing anything about it.

If he will not do the things that the commissioner have asked of him, how can he be reinstated in the league?

He is basically banning himself from returning to the PBA. Without his actions, how can he expect to return?

Maybe we are not aware with the actions that he is taking but knowing how big of a star Calvin is, we will hear about it. I am pretty sure we will be aware if he has visited someone for counselling. I am pretty sure someone will report if he has apologize to Ray Parks'girlfriend and to Terrence Jones.

If my deductions are true, Calvin has not realized what is wrong with what he did. I hope I am wrong because I want to see him again in the PBA as a change-man.
