With the Community Quarantine that is implemented in Manila, there is a good chance that PBA games may not resume until next month.
Yes! We may not have games for one month! That will mean one extra month of training for every team. And one more month to decide if it is time to make some changes in their roster.
Magnolia - Jio Jalalon
For Magnolia, it is pretty obvious that the next guy that will be traded will be a guard because they have a lot of guards. I mean, they have five starting-caliber guards. Paul Lee and Jio Jalalon are the guys who have been rumored to be shipped for a few months now. No trade has been consummated.
So, why did I chose Jio? Because Paul Lee is their best shooter and they badly need shooting. So, if the choice is between Jio and Paul, I think Jio will be their choice. Jio's youth gives him also added value that they can use to get one of the available superstars in the trade market.
NLEX - Philip Paniamogan
The addition of Mike Ayonayon will give NLEX a pretty loaded guard depth of Kiefer Ravena-Jericho Cruz-Kevin Alas-Bong Galanza-Ayonayon-Philip Paniamogan. So, there is a good chance that Philip will be the guy that they will sacrifice. Philip averaged 18.3 minutes per game last season and those minutes could easily go to Kevin Alas and Ayonayon.
Meralco - Trevis Jackson
With the addition of Aaron Black, a talented all-around guard ala Bong Quinto, Meralco should unload also a guard. Their best option could be Jackson because he has value for being young and he has shown glimpses last season.
John Pinto is already veteran and he rode the bench last year. So, his value is down. Anjo Caram is their main back-up point guard. Another possibility is Amer but he did have a great Governors' Cup, last year.
I also chose Meralco because if they have a big deal, he is the best guy to add as a sweetener. If they have a small deal, he is the most likely candidate that could net them some value.
