PBA Controversy: The trade that can solve the Ray Parks-TNT debacle

In the PBA bubble. Ray produced 22.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.5 steals, 49% FG and 46% 3FG per game.

Here is a joke. That guy was not part of the mythical team of the PBA bubble.

Here is the sad part, that guy is again in a big controversy as his decision to go for a sabbatical was met with a big question mark.

Knowing that MVP himself is already angry and that Ray has been silent. It seems like, it is much easier to see Caguioa retiring next year already than Parks ever playing for TNT.

Unfortunately for Ray, TNT is in control. Ray Parks cannot sign with any other team because he is still not qualified to become an Unrestricted Free Agent.

That means, if he wants to play for another team, the decision should be made by TNT.

The question now is, can TNT find a team that wants to get a very controversial player with a lot of issues in Ray Parks?

Their rival conglomerate will surely welcome the challenge. Knowing that Ray played for Alab Pilipinas, I am pretty sure he is already connected to SMC.

But, who should be the target of TNT?

How about Greg Slaughter and a little bit more. Yes, SMC managed to play the seven-footer card to appease the fans in the Standhardinger-Slaughter swap.

But, now that they will trade with their rival conglomerate, they may need to add more.

Maybe, Greg Slaughter and Garvo Lanete, a San Beda alumni?
