2021 PBA Mock Draft 4.0: Alaska picked two future superstars?

Here is our updated mock draft!

#1 BWE Justine Baltazar (#1 Last Mock) - MVP Group, I mean Blackwater should be happy with what they saw with Baltazar during his stint with Gilas. I think it is pretty clear that he can be a top 10 player in the PBA.

#2 DYIP Jason Brickman (#2 Last Mock) - With James Laput looking like a potential starting-caliber center and with Isaac Go joining them a few years from now, Brickman could be the quarterback that this young team, badly needs.

#3 NLEX Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser (#6 Last Mock) - With the age of JR Quinahan and a pretty obvious need for high talent in their frontline, I expect NLEX to target a center. And I think Brandon is the best option.

#4 ALA Juan Gomez de Liano (#4 Last Mock) - Jayvee Casio, the veteran PG of Alaska, is their oldest player. So, Alaska may want to find a young guard that will be part of their future. Juan can easily be that guy.

#5 ROS Taylor Statham (NEW!) - There are rumblings before the 2020 draft that Rain or Shine likes Statham. If Taylor finally secures his requirements, Rain or Shine can get him and he can be a good fit besides Mocon.

#6 NOR Jeo Ambohot (#5 Last Mock) - The connection of the Northport manager Bonnie Tan to Letran will make this choice of Northport, an easy one. Ambohot was part of the Gilas 23 for 23 but unfortunately, was not selected by coach Tab.

#7 MAG Brandon Bates (#8 Last Mock) - Unless they fix their frontline depth through trade this season, Bates should be the pick for Magnolia here. He will be a different center compared to Raffi but he will be worth it.

#8 ALA Jeremiah Gray (#7 Last Mock) - There is a good chance that Gray will fall in this draft because of the maximum allowed number of Fil-Am. That makes Gray with a very big chance of becoming a draft steal.

#9 ROS Matthew Aquino (NEW) - Height is still might in the PBA. Matthew is a legit 6'8-6'9 center and has the PBA gene from his father, Marlou Aquino. Matthew though is more agile and more athletic.

#10 BWE Ricci Rivero (#9 Last Mock) - If Blackwater continues to provide young players to the MVP group, grabbing Ricci who is also a TV talent of the network will be a no-brainer.

#11 BWE Javi Gomez de Liano (#11 Last Mock)  - UP is connected pretty well with the MVP group. Javi is also the most recognizable name available at this point. Javi brings an interesting skill set in the forward position.

#12BGSM Frank Yu (#12 Last Mock) - I think Ginebra fans will enjoy what Frank can bring to the team. He plays with 100% heart and really skilled with the ball. I do not think if he starts right away but Tenorio will be there to guide him.
