2021 PBA Mock Draft 7.0: Ginebra drafted a replacement for Standhardinger?

Here is our latest mock draft!

#1 BWE Thirdy Ravena - After two seasons in Japan B League, I expect Thirdy to really consider returning to the Philippines. Being drafted by Blackwater means an MVP team will get him, eventually.

#2 ALA Justine Baltazar - Alaska badly needs a superstar talent and that will be the guy that they will catch with the #2 pick. Baltazar will be a game-changer for them.

#3 DYIP Jeremiah Gray - With the breakout of Juami Tiongson, Terrafirma should try to get a wingman with high potential. That guy could be Gray because he has a lot of hype under him.

#4 ALA Jason Brickman - After getting a guy with a very high potential in Baltazar, Alaska should now get a player that can be a top 3 point guard in the league, right away.

#5 BGSM Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser - There are rumors that Christian Standhardinger could e leaving Ginebra. In that case, drafting a bigman could be a priority for Ginebra. Unless they trade for one.

#6 NLEX Taylor Statham - They badly need a consistent play creator. Someone who can break down the defense at will. Statham is that guy for this draft. He can easily be a better version of Munzon.

#7 ROS Jeo Ambohot - Ambohot is a promising local bigman who is already willing to take three-pointers. He is a good fit for Rain or Shine and could be an excellent project for the veteran bigs of the team.

#8 NOR Juan Gomez de Liano - Northport is one of the few teams that can actually take a guard and has the potential to provide a lot of playing time. I also believe that SMC teams will be interested on Juan.

#9 BWE Javi Gomez de Liano - The connection of Blackwater to the MVP group will make this 2nd pick of Blackwater an easy one. Javi is a guy of the MVP group and settling with Blackwater will be good.

#10 MAG Brandon Bates - There is a good chance that this giant will fall in the draft, the same way Troy Rike fell in the 2020 draft. Bates though is a different breed and there is a good chance that he will be a traditional big.

#11 ROS Ken Tuffin - If Tuffin joins the draft, there is a big chance that he will end up in the 1st round. Rain or Shine will be a good fit for him and be part of the collection of versatile forwards of ROS.

#12 BWE Frank Yu - I am pretty sure that a lot of teams still remember the name of Frank Yu. He is a quality point guard that may have the potential to be something more if put into the right team.
