It is 2025 now, and other than the competition inside the court that is heating up, people are also eagerly anticipating actions on the trade table.
A lot of the perennial contenders are being anticipated to make a move soon. But for us, here are the top 5 candidates that will be part of the first trade this year.
#5. Converge
Converge is playing well now but I can feel the aggressiveness from their camp. If an opportunity will open, Converge can attempt a bite.
#4. Magnolia
Magnolia is in a big problem and soon, they will be forced to take action. Replacing coach Chito Victolero may not be enough to change their future.

Blackwater is having a hard time catching up to the playoff train. If they fail to do so, I expect them to do a quick shake up of their line-up.

San Miguel is struggling. I cannot even see a clear identity by this team. This could push them to make a big change soon in their line-up.

The most logical choice as part of the first trade is still Terrafirma. By the looks of their current team, nobody is taking them seriously. What if they are already on their fire-sale mode and the franchise will be sold soon?
