PBA Controversy: Release the Beast movement!

The biggest issue that the PBA is facing today is not the JP Erram trade. It is actually the case of Calvin Abueva.

 Nine months after suspending Calvin, the league has not yet to lift the suspension as commissioner Marcial revealed that Calvin still needs to do something for it to be lifted.

 That did not sit well with Abueva's wife as he finally spoke about the issue through a lengthy post on Instagram.

The first part was basically pointing to the rumor that someone is actually manipulating the commissioner into keeping Abueva, suspended.

 The post also revealed that the suspension has helped Calvin changed his ways. And that is the point of that suspension, right?

 But the most revealing part of the comment is that they are not aware of those tasks that Calvin has not complied with it.

 Is she saying that commissioner Marcial was lying to the media? I am not really sure. Maybe, Calvin has not yet to reveal those things to his wife. 

 But the part where I 100% agree with her was about revealing the parameters of what Calvin should do to be back to the PBA.

 Why are they keeping it a secret? Maybe because it cannot be justified already. Especially with the fact that Calvin has missed nine months of salary because of the suspension.

 Even the governor of Phoenix has told the media that they were hoping for his release soon. Especially that several of their current players have suffered long-term injuries.

 I do know that not all of you are a big fan of Calvin. But at this point, the PBA may have crossed the line of fairness. I even think that this suspension could be illegal already. That they have deprived Calvin of supporting his family without the proper due process.

 I think we need to voice out our displeasure about it. Let us help Calvin's family and Phoenix in their movement of getting the release of The Beast.
