PBA Controversy: SMB legend helped them?

San Miguel showed the heart of a champion, outlasting a determined Converge, 109-105, to secure the final semifinals spot in the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup. June Mar Fajardo delivered a monster performance with 40 points and 24 rebounds, leading the Beermen in a gritty Game 5 win. Converge fought hard, holding the lead late thanks to Alex Cabagnot’s three-pointer, but turnovers down the stretch cost them the game.

Speaking of Cabagnot, fans have accused him of "Byahe" (purposely making errors) after two crucial mistakes in crunch time. With over a hundred playoff games under his belt, Cabagnot was expected to be a steady veteran presence but faltered late. However, questioning his intent seems unfounded. He was instrumental in keeping Converge in the game, hitting key shots and playing with heart.

Also, it's hard to believe Cabagnot would deliberately risk performing poorly, especially given the powerful presence of team governor Delta Pineda. The reality is, basketball is unpredictable, and even seasoned veterans like Cabagnot can have lapses, but suggesting deliberate actions is a stretch.
