It is holiday season again PBA fans! In this next two weeks, majority of Filipinos will enjoy the companionship of their family to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.
Let us first focus on Christmas in this series of articles, wherein we will name the best Christmas gift trade that each team can receive during these times!
These are the trades that are possible and a win for that franchise! We will start with Blackwater, Terrafirma and Phoenix!
Blackwater - Dalph Panopio for Mike Nieto and Henry Galinato
Panopio got a lot of hype during the 2025 PBA draft and the guy is still very young. Fans are high about him and TNT could also be high. On the other hand, the performance of Galinato is not talk that much but the guy is a legit starting caliber bigman. If Blackwater can get a starting-caliber bigman and a core player in Nieto, in exchange for a young guard, Blackwater easily wins that exchange!
Terrafirma - Christian Standhardinger for the best package
Regardless if we look at Terrafirma as a farm team, it will still be a big win for them if they can get something for the rights to Christian Standhardinger.
Phoenix - Jason Perkins for the best package
Jason Perkins is still the best player of Phoenix. Looking at the young core of Phoenix, Perkins' timeline is just not a good fit. Phoenix will benefit big time, if they can create a trade market for Jason Perkins and the interested teams will battle it out and provide the best trade package possible.
