My Trade Target Suggestions for NLEX

The best thing about being eliminated in the elimination round is no other than the fact that they improved the value of their potential draft pick.

Unfortunately, the draft will not be enough to make them a contender. And in the PBA, the best venue for improving your team is still, through trade.

So, let us provide a helping hand to the Yeng Guiao-led squad, NLEX Road Warriors.

Jason Deutchman
Coach Yeng Guiao wants his bigs to be capable of hitting the three-point shots. We all saw that with the Extra Rice Inc. Jason Deutchman is one of the low-price shooting power forward out there. Other than his shooting, Coach Yeng will also love his vision and ability to find the open man.

NLEX will not break a sweat in negotiating for Deutchman. Mahindra only see him as a bench player so NLEX may not even need to give up any valuable asset to acquire him.

Brian Heruela
Can you name at least three guards  who are on the same mold of the previous Yeng Guiao disciples; Paul Lee, Jericho Cruz and Maverick Ahanmisi? I am pretty sure Heruela will be one of those three.

Heruela had been riding the bench of San Miguel for almost two years now and basically his role is to keep his friend, Junemar Fajardo, happy and satisfied. I will be very disappointed if he will waste his third season on the bench of the Beermen.

Heruela is the same burly-playmaking guard that coach Yeng treasures. I am also intrigue with his defensive potential because he is discipline on the defensive end and he has the footwork and agility to become a legit-stopper!
