My Trade Target Suggestion for Globalport

(c) PBA Media Bureau

Globalport suffered from the injury bug and inconsistency. Romeo missed four games and they tried three imports.

Looking at the numbers, there were some positives. They are the fourth most efficient team from beyond the arc.

But more negatives. They are the 2nd worst rebounding and assisting team. They also commit the most turnovers per game. Being bad in rebounding and turnovers is one of the worst combination in basketball but surprisingly, they still managed to get one of the quarterfinals ticket.

Globalport needs to improve a lot of areas. So, let me help them out.

Don Trollano

The arrival of Sean Anthony, Jonathan Grey and Bradwyn Guinto had rounded out the roster of Globalport, pretty well. One kind of guy missing their is a 3-and-D type. Enter Don Trollano. He is not a perfect 3-and-D yet but with Rain or Shine culture, he is getting there.

Don is shooting 34.3% from beyond the arc in his two-years career. His defensive rating for this season is 97.2 points, which is  a little bit higher than what you want.

Don is outside the top 8 players in Rain or Shine rotation so some 2nd rounders could be enough to entice Globalport. Maybe, try to give them Pennisi.

Aldrech Ramos

I do believe that Globalport can win a championship with Pringle and Romeo, leading the team.

If you think about it, what kind of player will be the best complement to the two? A big man that is really good in hitting outside shots and capable of protecting the rim! Right?

Which means Aldrech Ramos will be a perfect fit for them! I will not be gun shy to offer Guinto and some 2nd rounders for him. No, Guinto and a 1st round pick for Ramos, Brondial and Javier will still be fine for me!

Ramos, Brondial, Pennisi, Anthony and Javier will be a perfect frontline for an up-and-coming squad.
