Phoenix and NLEX was actually negotiating before the trade bonanza of NLEX. The negotiation stalled once NLEX pushed through in acquiring coach Yeng's old cogs, Larry Fonacier and JR Quinahan.
According to coach Yeng himself, Ryan Arana and Cyrus are interchangeable trade targets and knowing that Ryan is already a free-agent, the Skyrus-Guiao reunion may not happen.
#2 Ryan Arana
Arana was let-go by Mahindra this conference. You cannot blame them because he was shooting 33.3% from the field this season. Nevertheless, he was still a hardworking defender and ferocious slasher.
Being a free-agent, coach Yeng can easily acquire him but it also means that other teams are his competitors for his service.
#1 Kris Rosales
I think, Kris Rosales is his main target and it will not be hard to get him. TNT just exchanged Matthew Ganuelas-Rosser for RR Garcia and that sent Kris Rosales one level down in their rotation. Kris Rosales is the youngest out of the three and he is having a pretty good season.
He is manufacturing 13.3 points, in 51.1% FG and 48.3% 3FG, 3.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per 36 minutes of play. By the way, he was also 40% accurate from beyond the arc last season!
Coach Yeng should not hesitate to acquire him because he will be getting a pretty decent player who still has an untapped potential.
