2017 Com. Cup Finals Game 6 Prediction: To Rescue or To Finish?

Wow! That game 5 was a see-saw battle like no other! Coach Leo Austria shut me up by sticking with his less-glamorous rotation style by playing the same five guys all throughout the fourth quarter! And mind you, The Kraken was not part of it!

Yes, the Ross-Cabagnot-Lassiter-Santos-Rhodes quintet completed their rally to victory! On the other hand, TNT should take the good performance by Rosales and RDO as consolations, going into the next round.

Now, let us check the performance of my deciding factors:
Game 5 - SMB vs TNT (111-102)
1. Chris Ross (10 Points, 4 Rebounds, 11 Assists, 5 Steals)
2. Fastbreak Points (28 vs 11)
3. Points in the Paint (48-40)
Verdict: Perfectly Accurate

Game 6 Deciding Factors
1. Fastbreak Points
2. Jayson Castro
3. Three-point Shooting

For the first time, my deciding factors were perfect! For game 6, the battleground will be changed. I don't think Chris Ross is already the player that will decide game 6. That guy will be Jayson Castro. We all saw The Blur finished Meralco and Ginebra in the previous rounds of the playoffs. The challenge is different this time. He needs to keep his team, alive!

In game 5, the two teams showered each other with long bombs. I expect the same for game 6. But, I think if a team over-rely on it, that team will loss. Marcio Lassiter and Alex Cabagnot combined for 19 attempts in the last game. They went 5/19. If they can do better than that, TNT could be doomed.

Prediction
I am going for SMB here. I think, Lassiter and Cabagnot will shoot much better next game. The fastbreaks will remain in their favor as TNT continue to play big minutes for their bigs. I expect a huge night by Jayson Castro but SMB will put the stops in the 4th quarter, to seal the championship.
