#5 Chris Newsome
Ever heard of this guy? He is playing for the Meralco Bolts and he is their best two-way local. The guy is also one of the phenomenal stat-fillers today as exhibited by his stats of 13.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 44.4% 3FG. He is 7th in rebounds and 5th in assists.
#4 Arwind Santos
The Spiderman is back. With the Kraken facing injury concerns, Arwind had morphed back to his elite form and is currently the #5 in the scoring list. When was the last time Arwind finished in the top 6 scoring list? His hot outside shooting, 14/28, is behind his scoring surge. Here is the most amazing thing though, he is also the #1 rim protector this season with 2.5 blocks per game.
#3 LA Tenorio
It seems like Earl and LA had switched roles in this conference. LA is the #1 scorer of the Kings with his 16.8 points. He is more than hot from the outside, knocking 16 of his 23 attempts for a 69.6% clip! Even if we used the free-throw shooting of the other players, only 31 will be able to top his 3FG%.
#2 Greg Slaughter
Greg returned with a vengeance! He is currently the 2nd best player in terms of the Player Efficiency of PBA-online. His numbers of 14.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.2 blocks is not that eye-popping enough but more than enough to show his impact in a game. The guy dominates on both ends of the court. We can always argue that it is more about his size than his talent and skills but that doesn't matter. His size is his weapon and he is wielding it, so hard!
#1 Terrence Romeo
Can I say this already? Terrence could be the best scorer that the PBA had ever seen! He is currently ripping 25 points per game! That is 6 points higher than the #2! It is not as if he is not doing his playmaking duties. The guy is also assisting 5.8 shots per game. Defense could forever be his weakness but his offensive strength could be beyond PBA standards.
