Analyzing the wordings of the rumors, I am pretty confident that he is talking about a player that is not being given enough playing time and opportunity to showcase his ware. It could also be someone that is young enough to have a pretty good potential.
Some players that comes to mind are Ian Sangalang, Brian Heruela, Ael Banal, Mo Tautuaa, Don Trollano and Maverick Ahanmisi.
The word "shine" easily points to Rain or Shine as a possible team. That is logical, because they are on a heated race for a playoff spot. So, it could be Don Trollano and Maverick Ahanmisi.
