According to some of the sources near the Blackwater Elite camp, Raymar Jose's agent is making it hard for the two side to come up with the deal.
The side of Jose wants a three-years maximum deal which the Elite are not willing to provide. Does, the risk of Jose entering the Free-Agency market is real.
This again highlight the current rules and system of the PBA. It provides too much power to the players that it is not helping the poorer franchises.
One thing that is not clear to me is if Blackwater will not get anything in return if Raymar signs with another squad.
If he will be available, expect Meralco Bolts, Star and Rain or Shine to try and snatch him.
