2024 PBA Mock Draft: Converge with a dream draft?

 

Here is our updated mock draft!

ROUND 1!

#1 XERS Justine Baltazar - Converge is just one tournament away from securing Baltazar! Unless the PBA is so against Converge, getting the #1 pick will finally unite Justine and Converge.

#2 BWE Kai Ballungay - For Blackwater, it will be a hard one to decide. Fortunately, their connection to the MVP group made it easy.

#3 DYIP Sedrick Barefield -Sedrick has not closed his door from joining the PBA. Holt was disappointing but Sedrick looks better.

#4 NLEX Kobe Paras - Remember that Kobe is well connected to the MVP group. NLEX could be looking for a player that can drive more hype to the team.

#5 BWE CJ Cansino - If TNT will sustain this top pick for Blackwater, they can then secure another MVP group college star in Cansino.

#6 ROS Kamaka Hepa - Hepa represents that out-of-nowhere Fil-Foreign player that will join the draft and I feel we will get a bigman.

#7 NOR Evan Nelle - It will be perfect for Northport to find their future point guard in Nelle. Lastimosa will be considered but the health difference will make Evan the better option.

#8 MER Geo Chiu - We are all aware of the connection of Meralco to Ateneo. They just drafted Bates but one giant is not enough.

#9 BGSM Jerom Lastimosa - We all know that Ginebra has the luxury to wait out injured blue chip prospects like Lastimosa.

#10 PHX Jason Brickman - This is easily one of my favorite fit.  Brickman is still open to joining the PBA.

#11 SMB CJ Lane - San Miguel is the franchise that knows the importance of accumulating giants. Lane is a giant and he could be special.

#12 MAG Robin Duncan - Duncan is a big forward who can shoot. Magnolia need shooters.

ROUND 2!

#1 XERS Juan Gomez de Liano - Juan is having a hard time finding a home in the International basketball scene. Maybe, going back to the PBA for now will be considered.

#2 BWE Will Gozum - He is still an NCAA MVP who is a bigman. He has a lot of room for improvement still and I think he can be better.

#3 DYIP Lawrence Domingo - Lawrence has not been that active to sustain his hype. I expect him to still have a lot of interest during the draft.

#4 NLEX Taylor Statham - Statham is already old but with his height and ability to score, he can still change a franchise.

#5 TNT  Ben Phillips - He is around 6'8 and he can really jump. I think he just need to focus and develop his skills and he could be something.

#6 ROS David Penney - He is unknown right now but we heard a report last year that he is eyeing the PBA already.

#7 NOR CJ Payawal - He is a legit tall wing. It is not easy to find players like him. Although, his skills are not polished.

#8 MER James Spencer - He is currently playing in Australie and he is doing well. The guy is strong and athletic.

#9 BGSM Kurt Reyson - His name popped last year with his performance in Letran and in MPBL with Pampanga.

#10 PHX Jared Brown - He is a sniper and snipers are needed in the PBA. Can he become more than that? He has the tools to do so.

#11 SMB Brandon Ramirez - He is an undersize bigman who is very interesting because of his willingness to take three-pointers.

#12  MAG Abdul Sawat -He is a wingman with a lot of things to offer. Jack-of-all-trades type of player.
