Coach Pido Jarencio is back on his old post as the main driver of the young and sleet Globalport Batang Pier. Franz Pumaren is not totally out of the team though, because his contract with the team is still in-play.
But, with the player movements of the green franchise, it seems obvious that they are already moving-on from coach Franz.
They just let-go of three DLSU alumni who were under coach Franz in college. I am talking about Mike Cortez, Billy Mamaril and Rico Maierhofer. And, they did that in the quickest possible way, cutting them from the roster.
According to some good sources, the hiatus of coach Franz could also be the primary reason of the return of Yousef Taha.
Lastly, the chattering also points to coach Franz as the primary pusher of trading Romeo for a bigman. And, we just heard that Globalport is not continuing to make any deal.
