TRADE RUMORS! Globalport received a GREAT OFFER for Terrence Romeo

We all know by now that Globalport is on the "side" of SMC. So, even with the on-going rift on the PBA, a rumor bombed his way into the social media.

According to them, Meralco is offering Chris Newsome and Baser Amer for Terrence Romeo!

Without any legit evidence about this, we should not buy in! The offer is really enticing, though. Newsome may not be the closer-type of player that a team wants but he is an all-around guy and the nearest equivalent to Lebron James in the PBA.

Baser Amer just exploded in the just concluded season, looking like a capable starting point-guard for a decade. 

Value-wise, that is an acceptable trade. But, if you think about what Terrence Romeo brings in the marketing side, you cannot just trade him for that.

Nonetheless, that is only a rumor guys. And only a rumor of a trade offer. So, hold your guns.
