BREAKING RUMOR! Raymond Almazan is pushing hard to be traded!

The moment he showed glimpse of stardom in his sophomore season, Raymond Almazan was seen as the future of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

The worse thing to transpire is for him to request a trade when he is finally at his peak.

Unfortunately, that is what is rumored to be happening today.

The smoke started in their game against Phoenix, when coach Caloy chose to bench him due to his poor performance in their previous game against Globalport. In that game against Globalport, he recorded 2 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and 3 turnovers.

Coach Caloy was honest enough to admit that the two of them have a confrontation after that game. After that confrontation, he missed their next two practices which prompted coach Caloy to leave him on the bench in their game against Phoenix.

Those kinds of altercations are legit indicators that the relationship of the two has a big crack, that can result into one of them deserting the team.

And according to one of the best source of PBA rumors, Almazan is more than willing to depart the team that drafted him third overall, behind Greg Slaughter and Ian Sangalang.

According to the source, the Dark Knight is not happy with the way the team is now being handled by coach Caloy.

A coach-player spat could be the hardest to repair in a professional league. If I am Rain or Shine, as shown by my series article of a Rain or Shine rebuild, I will choose to trade Raymond.

With his size and ability to shoot, it will not be hard for them to fetch a first round pick and some young pieces for him.
