Good coaches are really beloved in Philippine Basketball Association. It is now a proven fact, that Jericho Cruz really wants a trade out of Rain or Shine. And his real desire is to be reunited with Coach Yeng Guiao.
Coach Yeng Guiao has aired his side through an article with Spin.ph. According to him, he is not really looking to make any changes in his roster, but he is open to entertain any trade idea, that the Rain or Shine camp will put in the table.
With the statements of coach Yeng, we now know that the offer should come from the side of Rain or Shine. And coach Yeng will only accept an offer that will benefit both sides.
One easy trade that they can explore is the straight swap of Jericho Cruz and Kevin Alas. I think, both players will be a better fit with their destination than with their current squad.
Other than that swap, what is the other possible packages that Rain or Shine may ask from NLEX?

Raul Soyud, Juami Tiongson and two 2nd round picks. I think Rain or Shine is more interested for quality players than a 1st round pick. But, the quality of a Jericho Cruz is obvious so they better ask for two 2nd round picks.
Coach Guiao is the kind of coach that can find a good player in the 3rd or 4th round so those 2nd round picks will be easier for him to give up.
Coach Yeng has been developing Soyud, pretty well. He is playing the role of Belga in NLEX with his size and ability to shoot from beyond the arc.
I think, that package will be hard to reject for coach Yeng. Adding Jericho Cruz will further enrich the guard rotation of NLEX.
Overall, we should expect Jericho to wear a different uniform, a month from now.
