FREE-AGENCY TALK! Keith Jensen Should Be A Target By...

Keith Jensen was provided a lot of opportunities in the PBA, to show what he got. He  never found his footing and the breakout never happened.

More than a year after his final game in the league, he resurfaced in the ABL with a kind of game that a lot of aspiring championship teams, need.

You want to see what he did? Here was the highlights!

The biggest thing that standout was his three-point shooting. That was the skill that all the PBA teams, that he played for, were longing all along.

In that one game in the ABL, he connected on four three-pointers.

What did he do in more than a year of hiatus from professional basketball? Did he trained so hard that he finally found that three-point touch?

If he did, Magnolia better call him back.

So, who are the teams that should try to lure him back into the league?

Here are the top two squads.

MAGNOLIA

Magnolia double-down in their emphasis of defense in their last game. They played a tall, heavy and long frontline of Kyle Pascual, Marc Pingris and Rafi Reavis. Add their pesky guards, and they created a fortress that limited the most powerful offensive team to 77 points.

That can only work in elimination round. In a playoff series, San Miguel will find a way to play quick and drain that frontline.

So, adding another dimension could complete them. Jensen did not only show three-point shooting in that ABL game, he show elite court awareness.

He was on the right place, at the right time for majority of their offense. He was not forcing anything and making bad decisions. He was patient, taking the right shots and making the right passes.

And on defense, his focus was also fine.

He will not look like a clone of Aldrech Ramos, because even with the three-point shooting, Aldrech is struggling this season.

GLOBALPORT

It is quite funny that the two teams that need him the most, are also the last two franchises that he played for.

Globalport badly need him.

Why?

Because Globalport is emulating the Houston Rockets.

In their last two games, they threw 67 attempts from beyond the arc! That is insane! So, how about adding a "should-be" elite off-the-ball option?

Pringle is playing like the James Harden of the PBA and his team is emulating the spread-and-three offense of Houston.

So, add another determine shooter who focuses on finding the right spots of throwing the long bomb, and you will magnify that style!

Talent wise, Globalport will not beat the SMC teams and even TNT. But, an over-the-top style would be a huge wrinkle to any potential playoff opponent.

Maybe, that game was only an aberration. But, if it is not, they better run after Jensen.
