TRADE RUMORS? Can Parks be a Ginebra San Miguel?

Bobby Ray Parks is not having the same dominance that he had in the 2017 season of the Asean Basketball League, but to say that he is not playing well will be a huge mistake.

He is currently making 14.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.0 steal per game. A decline from his 2017 production of 18.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Nevertheless, no team will say "no" to a player who can fill-up the stat-sheet the way he does.

So, it was not shocking that Justin Brownlee wants Ray Parks to be his teammates in the PBA with Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel.

He showed that when he posted his congratulations to Parks, when Ray won the Best Player of the Week. In his tweet, he referred to Parks as a future gin.

Is there a chance that he heard something from Ginebra?

Unfortunately, it will not be easy for Ginebra to get him. If he enters the 2018 draft, he will surely be a top 2 pick. And Ginebra will most probably pick in the 10-12 range.

So, they will need to trade their way into the top 2. And there is a good possibility that they can do that, because Kia is doing their due diligence to get the #1 pick. And we know the connection of the Kia franchise and the SMC teams.

But, Commissioner Marcial will surely not let another SMB-Kia trade. Or even something near to that, because the PBA fanbase is always ready to pounce again.

So, can they get him? The possibility is there, but it will not be easy.
