2018 PBA Mock Draft 1.0: The 7-12 picks

#7 Rain or Shine Elasto Painters - Andre Paras
Paras could be one of the most underrated player in the draft. He is capable of shooting and rebounding in an elite level. If he develops some of his other skills, he could be a very impactful player. And he is already practicing with the Painters, right? I really believe that they want to have him.

#8 Alaska Aces - Owen Graham
Owen Graham was the first pick of the 2017 PBA D-League draft. Unfortunately, he had not played in the D-League, but if he will be able to do that, Alaska could be a good fit. Graham is a multi-dimensional wing, who was compared to Arwind Santos in the pass. If he can also defend the rim like Arwind, this will be a steal.

#9 NLEX Road Warriors - Alvin Pasaol
Coach Yeng will pick the best available player, and the chance that Pasaol will slip this low, into the 1st round, is high. Alvin's physical attributes are always in question, but not his ability to score, shoot and clutchness.

#10 Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel - Trevis Jackson
Trevis is a fil-am, who is currently lighting-up the D-League with his scoring outburst. His handle is very good and his knock for creating space is superb. Can he be a facilitator in the PBA? LA Tenorio will be a very good tutor for him.

#11 Magnolia Hotshots - Jaypee Faundo
With the depth of their guard rotation, and the presence of Paul Lee in their wing rotation, Hotshots will try to address their frontline. At this point, Faundo will be the best available big. He do not possess any elite skills but he has the size and strength to be a serviceable big in the PBA.

#12 San Miguel Beermen - Jayvee Mocon
The Beermen will go for the best prospect available, and that is Jayvee Mocon. He could be a steal if he could continue to be a stat-filling machine in the PBA.
