Don't tell me you ever doubted them to fail? If you did, then you were not watching enough PBA basketball.
From the beginning up to the last game, the Beermen were no doubt the best team in the league! And if you think about it, that fact may not change, at least, in the next two seasons.
And in the next two seasons, will you really bet against them?
Here are some facts that will make the other 11 teams cringe in fear, in the next two All-Filipino Championship.

Jaw-dropping? How in the hell are you going to stop a team that had five players that are lording the statistical-leaderboard?
In scoring, Fajardo is #1 and he is 1,8 better than the 2nd one. Marcio Lassiter is at #5 and Arwind Santos is #8. The next best team in terms of their top 3 scorers, is Ginebra, who have three of the top 12 in points.
Chris Ross is the best player in providing dimes and he is 0.7 better than the 2nd one! Combine that with the fact that they have the best scorer and two more in the top 10 and you will see how simple basketball is for the Beermen.
Add the fact that they have at least two players who are elite in stealing and blocking, and you will conclude that their defense will not crack, anytime soon!
Having two of the top 3 shot-blockers in the league is already a super weapon on its own. Protecting the rim could be the most important work on defense. And they have two who do that in an elite level? Majority of the teams out there are still looking for at least one elite rim-protector, San Miguel will have two in the next two seasons.
The #6 fact is the most insane. Why? Because those two are June Mar Fajardo and... Not Cabagnot. Not Santos. Not Lassiter. Not Ross. The second one is Matthew Ganuelas-Rosser.
Rosser has been a perfect role player for the Beermen. When he is on the court, the guy is never looking to score. He is looking to perfect the other things. Double-teaming, playmaking, rim-protecting and hitting open shots!
This version of San Miguel could be the best compilation of dominant players in almost all the statistical areas in the game.
#2 Christian Standhardinger is coming
He is coming. The bigman who is dominating the Asean Basketball League is coming to the most destructive PBA team. Just wow. I hope Narvasa is happy with what he did.
#3 June Mar Fajardo is only 29 years old
This is the exclamation point. The best player in the league, who can end up as the Greatest PBA player of all time, will still be at his peak in, at least, the next four seasons. The good thing is, there are a lot of bigmen who are slowly rising to provide a harder challenge for him.
But, the fact is, Fajardo already develop a lot of skills to survive the hardest obstacles that any bigman can bring. And he can still develop a lot of things to become even better!
