Kobe Paras should learn from Ray Parks and JOIN the 2018 Draft

One of the greatest lessons in life is, do not repeat the same mistakes committed by other people. It seems like Kobe Paras knew that.

Kobe Paras has decided to return and live again in his homeland. His first venture is to help the Gilas 23 for 23 in the Filoil Flying V Premier Cup.

That is a great venue to see if Paras is really cut above the rest of his age group. Kobe will surely face a lot of the top college squads in the country. And those teams will not be there to really win the crown. That tournament will only be a preparatory one for them.

So, if he will not be able to dominate, questions will start to rise for the phenom.

Now, if he can do it, he better enters the 2018 PBA draft.

Bobby Ray Parks is still the amateur that the PBA has been clamoring for. When he reached the age of 21, PBA is already ready for his arrival. A lot of people believe that he will dominate in the league. Unfortunately, he chose to try his luck to reach the NBA.

Personally, that was not a bad decision for Ray. That was the dream of his father for him, and I am pretty sure, he also wanted to achieve that.

But in the general look of things, he should have not waited that long. One factor that he missed was the fact that he can actually use the PBA as his platform to reach the NBA.

I am hoping Kobe Paras will see that.

Kobe is not as good as a prospect as a Bobby Ray Parks. But in terms of potential, I think they have the same ceiling.

I hope Kobe knows that he can be the best player in the country, five years from now.
