Gilas will be Facing Two NBA Players

In the Group B of Asian World Qualifiers, where the Philippines belongs, the only undefeated country is Australia.

Last February, Australia dominated Gilas in their home floor, 84-68. We saw the Tall Blacks handcuffed Andray Blatche to 8 points and 7 rebounds.

In this upcoming third window, Gilas will play Australia again on July 2. The biggest problem now is, Australia will be adding two premium talents. While Gilas is battling chemistry issues and will send a weaker team, in terms of talent.

Who are those two premium talents that Australia will be having? Thon Maker and Matthew Dellavedova of Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA.

Both are part of the core of the Bucks. Maker is a fringe prospect with the ability to block shots and hitting threes. Matthew is known for his defense and ability to hit threes.

Who can forget his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Lebron James? He was a role player in the 2016 title of the Land.

The presence of these two would provide a good test to our PBA stars.

What can The Blur and The Bro do against the defense of Matthew? Can The Kraken and Japeth score against Thon Maker?

Winning the game against Australia will be a tough one. But if they manage to do it, it could be one for the ages.
