For the sake of the parity, SMB should trade Standhardinger to Magnolia

His performance in the Asian Games and against Iran revealed to us that Christian is almost as good as Junemar Fajardo on both sides of the court.

Without Fajardo in the Governors' Cup, Standhardinger punished their first two opponents with per-game averages of 28.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 73% shooting from the field.

If Standhardinger is now being compared to the undisputed best player of this era, and even in the history of the league, it is really unfair to just let him play behind the Kraken.

The PBA universe deserves a league where we can see the best two bigs in this era, playing against each other.

Of course, the San Miguel Corporation will not let go of Christian. But, one of their team is lacking a monster inside.

So, how about San Miguel trading it to Magnolia with the help of a 3rd team?

One team that could be willing to help out is Phoenix. Phoenix is in need of a point guard, which Magnolia has a lot of.

The trade could be 2020 PHX 1st to San Miguel for Standhardinger. Then PHX will trade him to Magnolia for Mark Barroca.

Yes. San Miguel loses in terms of value in this trade. But, in reality, they are not really maximizing CS. That 2020 1st could be valuable because of a lot of bigs that can be available in that draft.

Mark Barroca is a point guard in his prime. He is very good at both ends of the court. Giving up the 2020 1st could be huge but they need to form their core now because Wright and Abueva are already in their prime.

I think that trade will be a good gift to the league. With CS now in Magnolia, we now have three superteams battling each other.
