With a lot of injuries, Ginebra could target to add these guys

In their recent win against the San Miguel Beermen, Ginebra was down to ten playable ballers. Actually, only nine was 100% because Joe Devance just played through an injury for 33 minutes.

Greg Slaughter, Japeth Aguilar, Art Dela Cruz, Raymond Aguilar, Jervy Cruz, Julian Sergent and Sol Mercado will all be on street clothes until early October.

Coach Tim can decide to play with his remaining healthy guys this Saturday against Phoenix and on Friday against Northport. But how about calling up or trading for these guys to shore up their unit and lessen the burden of the healthy cogs?
JASON BALLESTEROS

With Slaughter and Aguilar out, Ginebra badly needs a bigman. Jason Ballesteros was recently relegated to unrestricted free-agency, making him available for everyone. Ballesteros will not provide that much on the offensive end but he is capable on the defensive end. With coach Tim's scheme, his offensive limitation will not be much of a hindrance.

GAB BANAL
Banal is lighting it up in the amateur leagues. In the 2018 PBA D-League Foundation Cup, Gab was the 1st runner-up MVP with his 14.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

With Aljon Mariano and Kevin Ferrer being pushed to play the PF position, Ginebra will need to fill-up some minutes in small forward. Aguilar will also return soon so it may be good to beef up with a wing who is capable of playing multiple positions.

REYNEL HUGNATAN
We all know by now that Reynel is one of the favorite players to coach for coach Tim. How about a little bit of reunion? Meralco grabbed Jamito in the unrestricted free-agency after his stint with Ginebra and it seems like he will eat up a huge portion of Reynel's minutes.

RDO is also back, pushing Reynel deeper into their frontline rotation.

For this to happen though, Ginebra will need to give up at least a 2nd round pick to Meralco. That will be the price of adding a grizzled veteran who can be the post-up mentor of their young bigs.
