Is Almazan-ROS drama really over?

It seems like Rain or Shine managed to fixed their relationship with Raymond Almazan. According to Spin.ph, Raymond and coach Caloy Garcia have mended their relationship, prompting Almazan to finally return home.

At the end of the day, it seems like the primary problem was really the relationship of Raymond and coach Caloy. It seems like it was more of a communication issue instead of a trade demand.

It will be hard to get any information about the meeting yesterday, between Almazan, his wife, his agent, Raymond Yu - co-owner of the team, Edison Oribiana - alternate governor of the team and Atty. Mamerto Mondragon - board governor of the team.

According to Mr. Yu, they will try to move on from what happened and have a fresh start. Is this an indication that Almazan will be with Rain or Shine for a few more years, instead of a few more months?

They have also decided that Almazan will not play already in their remaining games. Which could be a very good decision for their future.

Why?

They have assured themselves of the 8th pick in the draft.

The bigs of the upcoming draft are not hyped as much as the bigs in the past. Which means, Rain or Shine could end up drafting a bigman that Beau Belga and Jay Washington can mentor.

Ending the Almazan AWOL should not mean that coach Caloy is now safe with his job. Their results with him at the helm and his fiascos with his players could be enough for him to take the ax.
