KEY STATS: Rebounding
Banchero is having his best season in the PBA. He has developed into a well-rounded point guard, who is arguably the best passer in the league. On the other hand, Amer is still the same hotshot quarterback from Mindanao.
If you watch the games of Alaska and Meralco, you will conclude that their point guards are the heart of their teams.
In terms of the numbers that you should take note, it should rebounding. Mike Harris and Allen Durnham are monster rebounders. Getting 2nd chance opportunities are vital in this close match-up.
I am going with Meralco here. I think Amer will maintain his hot hands for their first game and that Durnham's rebounding will not be an easy puzzle to solve.
