Gov. Cup Finals - Ginebra VS Meralco III feels like a DESTINY

When I was watching the game 3 of Magnolia versus Ginebra, something hits me. It seems like the basketball gods have set up something great for us.

The 3rd serving of the Ginebra versus Meralco finals.

I felt that when Magnolia was able to tie the game at 101. Instead of siding to Magnolia as an eventual winner, I actually felt that Ginebra will actually find a way to win game 3. And they did.

And now, the road to the 3rd chapter of Ginebra versus Meralco is becoming much clearer.

The two teams that are connected to the Never Say Die attitude are bound to meet again.

Just remember what you felt when you saw Meralco with 1-6 record? There is no way we will see the 3rd Finals meet-up of Meralco and Ginebra! No way!

Then it happened. Meralco did something that no other team has done in the history of the league. They won six straight do-or-die games. If winning a single do-or-die game is already amazing how about six?

What was the spirit or attitude that run down the veins of the orange franchise during those games? Yes. Never Say Die.

Come on. That doesn't mean that they have supplanted Ginebra as the Never Say Die team in the league and in the country! Remember, Never Say Die is a spirit and can access anyone!

The basketball gods were so good that when Ginebra ended up with the top seed and Meralco was fighting for the last playoff spot, Meralco actually ended up in the 7th seed because of tiebreakers!

Yes. The basketball goods found a way to put the two teams in the two separate brackets.

Sorry Magnolia and Alaska fans. It seems like the basketball gods have made their decisions. Yes. Magnolia still has a 1-2 lead. Alaska and Meralco are still tied at 1-1.

But trust me. We will see Ginebra vs Meralco III this year.
