Finally, after months of waiting for the 2018 draft pool, the big names are throwing their names in.

Bobby Ray Parks Jr. just filed his application today and will finally turn pro after several years of waiting for him.

I cannot remember any wing or guard who has as much potential as Parks. I said this before but let me say it again, Parks can end up as the greatest PBA player ever if he goes to the right franchise.

The popular names that applied were also revealed after the filing of Parks. Leading them is Robert Bollick who is being billed as one of the top 3 picks for this draft, together with Parks Jr. and CJ Perez.

He is also an amazing prospect because of his size and ability to hit clutch shots. Combining those two is key to consistent success.

The other 2018 aspirants that we already know are Abu Tratter, Bong Quinto, Michael Calisaan and J-Jay Alejandro.

All of them has a good case to be taken in the 1st round.

Tratter is considered as the price bigman for this class unless Arvin Tolentino decides to put his name on the list.

Bong Quinto and J-Jay Alejandro are stat-fillers, a player archetype that was popularized by Earl Scottie Thompson and Chris Ross.

And Michael Calisaan has a good resume for a bigman.

There are still very good players out there that we are still waiting for like Owen Graham, Alvin Pasaol, Paul Desiderio and Santi Santillan.

I am hoping all of them will join this year.
