The biggest talk in town in the PBA universe is the rumored availability of a popular player for one of the 2nd to 4th pick. 

The fingers were pointed to Terrence Romeo right away but what if it is not Terrence?

So, let me provide the three popular players that are likely to be traded in the draft.


TERRENCE ROMEO
It is very unfortunate that Terrence suddenly finds himself to this kind of situation. According to an earlier rumor, Terrence is not part of the core group that TNT is willing to carry in the future. Thus, he is now available. 

I think the management realized that Terrence is their best asset to retool for the future. Terrence can bring them the bigman that they badly need or a versatile forward that can further modernize their team.

RAYMOND ALMAZAN
Rain or Shine is still holding on Almazan. I believe this is the right decision because Almazan is one of the unique players in the league. I think, he is the only giant in the league that can protect the rim and hit 3s (JP Erram will join him by next season).

Can Rain or Shine really say no to a top 4 pick, knowing that the contract of the Dark Knight will end at the end of the upcoming season? A top 4 pick will provide them a legit talent and will finally end their headaches. 

ALEX CABAGNOT
Cabagnot has been one of the top 5 point guards of the league in the last several years. By next season, he is already 36 years old.

Fortunately for San Miguel, Cabagnot still provided them a starting-caliber production this season. Thus, Alex is still worthy of a top 4 pick. How about Robert Bollick for Cabagnot? Northport, Blackwater or Phoenix may want to contend by next season so they will need Alex.
