The TNT-San Miguel match-up last Sunday was one of the most anticipated showdown this year. It was supposed to be the face-up of Terrence Romeo and his previous team. The team where his ex-teammates were rumored to be behind his demise from the franchise.

In the middle of the rumor was the supposed cool and professional, Jayson Castro.

That same Jayson Castro dazzled for 24 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists, 4 steals and was 10/16 in the field, leading TNT to the W last Sunday. A lot of us observed that he was extra-motivated.

It seems like he wants to prove something.

When asked after the game if it was a motivation to play against Terrence Romeo, Jayson never responded.

He was again silent in the first week of January when they asked about what was the real reason of the Terrence Romeo trade.

On the other hand, Terrence did the same thing when asked to comment with the rumor upheaval against him.

They may have thought that their silence will speed up the process of forgetting what happened.

It is actually the reverse.

The more silent they are the, more intriguing the reason behind.

Their silence is validating the rumor that they are really not in good terms.

The more silent they are, the more salivating their match-up is.
