San Miguel Beermen has a big problem!

(c) PBA Media Bureau

Just in the third game day of the PBA, we already got the biggest upset for the entire season. Yes, the win of Columbian Dyip against San Miguel Beermen was so unexpected in any realms of basketball sense!

We are not here to explain how Columbian accomplished it but I am here to open your eyes to a very big problem that San Miguel is facing.

Here was the minutes' distribution of San Miguel during the game:
Lassiter - 40 minutes
Cabagnot - 39 minutes
Fajardo - 34 minutes
Ross - 32 minutes
Santos - 30 minutes
Standhardinger - 16 minutes
Nabong - 15 minutes
Romeo - 12 minutes
Zamar - 10 minutes
Tubid - 5 minutes

Did anything change?

Terrence Romeo got injured in the 3rd quarter so he was limited to 12 minutes but how about the others?

I thought the minute's distribution will be much better this season?

Why did Christian Standhardinger, a bonafide top 15 player in the league, relegated to 16 minutes?

Maybe the rotation is not creative enough that they just slotted Christian into the back-up center role?

What? Christian Standhardinger will just be a back-up in this conference?

Will he be happy with that?

Maybe, let us wait for the next episode of this brewing PBA drama.

Wait. Are you asking me what was the problem?

Your question is wrong. The right query is, who is the problem?
