If Blackwater wants a trade, they need to target these guys

If you have checked the current standing of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup, you may have noticed that Blackwater is on the brink of elimination. Even if they win their last two games, they may still fail to catch the playoff bus.

Thus, the owner of the team, Mr. Dioceldo Sy, hinted about roster changes.

If he badly wants his team to be a perennial playoff contender, he should dream big and try to trade for these players.

CHRISTIAN STANDHARDINGER
Is Standhardinger available? I doubt it. But if there is an awesome offer on the table, why would San Miguel say no, knowing that they have the best player in the league, June Mar Fajardo, as their starting center.

So, what kind of offer should Blackwater put on the table? Bobby Ray Parks! Technically, Parks is playing for San Miguel in the current season of the ASEAN Basketball League. They know how good he is.

They may even know by now that if they consider the age difference between Christian and the fact that Alex Cabagnot and Chris Ross are getting older, Parks is better for them.

If any team wants to compete, they need a viable center. Someone who can handle the giants of the league and who can also force the other teams to bend. Standhardinger is that guy. His ferociousness, strength and motor are beyond unstoppable when he is in the zone.

Blackwater will not make a mistake building around him.

CARL BRYAN CRUZ
How about a versatile forward who can play three positions? The Phoenix Fuel Masters is currently at the top of the standings even though they are lacking a giant because of the versatility of their line-up. Blackwater my copy that by getting CBC.

Other than his versatility, CBC's ability to hit threes will work wonders for them. CBC is currently hitting 2.5 long bombs per game (6th in the league) at 41% efficiency! Adding a shooter in their frontline rotation will open better driving lanes for their guards.

What should they offer? Maybe one of their young guns and a second round pick.
