PBA Rumor: The Trade Block of TNT Ka Tropa

(c) PBA Media Bureau

Last Thursday, I already told you about a team that was rumored to be planning a major roster overhaul.

It seems like our sources just made it clear that the franchise which is planning to change a lot of their players is TNT Ka Tropa.

And that is pretty understandable knowing the high standard of the franchise and the fact that they are on disarray for the last few conferences.

The next question now is, who are the four to five players that TNT is keeping?

According to a source, the five, actually it is six, players that will remain to be a Ka Tropa are Jayson Castro, Harvey Carey, Troy Rosario, RR Pogoy and the Semerad twins.

It is pretty obvious why Jayson Castro is being protected, he is the face of the franchise and he is still one of their top 3 players.

RR Pogoy and Troy Rosario are their young pillars today and in the future. RR Pogoy solidified himself as a building block this conference. He is one of the best volume scorers in the league with credibility on the defensive end.

Regarding Harvey Carey, maybe it is about the fact that Carey has played every game in the PBA wearing the TNT uniform. It is also pretty obvious that Carey doesn't hold any value at this point. He is too old and his production has been forgettable for several years now.

Regarding the Semerad Twins, maybe only one of them will remain. In the first rumor, it says there that only five will be protected. If the twins are both protected,  it will now be six. Anthony Semerad has been groomed as a 3-and-D even though his shooting has been inconsistent. If I am going to bet, I think he is the guy that they will retain.

So, the guys that are on the trade block of TNT are Brian Heruela, Ryan Reyes, Don Trollano, Yousef Taha, Jay Washington, Kelly Williams, Michael Miranda, Jericho Cruz, Frank Golla and any other TNT player that are not rumored to be protected.
