The Three Players that Ginebra should put on the trade block

Even though weeks have passed from their demise from the Philippine Cup, the Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel fans haven't stopped from clamoring a trade from the management.

Thus, we will offer our unsolicited advice again to Ginebra.

Who are the three players that they should put on the trade block?

Let us see.

Kevin Ferrer
This is already his third season in the league and for his entire career, Kevin has been part of the main rotation of Ginebra. So, I will not blame the fans if they are feeling disappointed with the production of Ferrer.

His shooting was his main selling point when he entered the league but he has been inconsistent in his career. In 2018 Phil. Cup, he shot 28% from beyond the arc, then 43% in the Commissioner's Cup and lastly, 42% in the last conference. Unfortunately, he only made 28% this conference.

The last primary reason why they can possibly trade Ferrer is the emergence of Art Dela Cruz. Just by watching them play, you will observe that Art is a much better fit for the scheme of coach Tim Cone than Kevin.

Art Dela Cruz
Yes, my point is, they can trade one of Ferrer and Art Dela Cruz. What they need to do is to put the two in the trade block and see which one will provide a better package.

So, why Art? It is because of the injury risk that he will always carry. He has suffered a lot of different ailments in his body that Ginebra should not trust him to be healthy for the next two conferences.

Thus, there is a good chance that he is currently at the peak of his trade value. Meaning, this could be the perfect time to get something for him.

Greg Slaughter
Trading the biggest player in the league is not easy and may sound like dumb but in the case of Ginebra, they have proven that they can win a championship without him. Thus, if they can upgrade the other parts of their team by trading him, it could be much better for them.

Even though his game is not that flashy, his impact is actually pretty obvious on both ends of the court. Thus, there should be a team out there who will give up a lot just to get him.
