2019 Post Phil. Cup: Who is the next wingman to be traded?

(c) PBA Media Bureau

As the competition in the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup gets hotter and hotter, I expect teams to be pushed into a trade.

Today, I will give you three wings that have the highest possibility of being a part of a trade, next.

Ginebra - Mark Caguioa
Ginebra is not playing well. Just ask coach Tim Cone who let coach Richard Del Rosario call the shots in the 3rd quarter of their game last Sunday, against Meralco. Ginebra is not shy about making moves in the middle of a season. One guy that is losing some steam from the fans is MC47. Mark did not play in their first two games. In short, Ginebra may not need him anymore to win games. It is just a matter of Ginebra preserving a great franchise player of the past. What if another team offers a good package? Maybe a young shooter? Will Ginebra says no?

Meralco - Bong Quinto
The Raymond Almazan trade is not the kind of exchange that we expected from the Bolts. It was supposed to involve a guard, at least. And now that the struggles of the Bolt continued, I think a trade is still a big possibility. Out of their wings, Quinto could be the guy to be moved. His age and potential alone give Bong value for other teams and I think, he is the only player in the backend of their rotation that has value.

Alaska - Kevin Racal
Racal has been the main 3-and-D role player of Alaska for at least two seasons now. In their first two games, he shot 50%. But, the volume is pretty bad, attempting only six three-pointers in three games. With Carl Bryan Cruz legitimizing himself as a dead-eye movement shooter, Racal's role is diminishing. If the Aces will make a move, they have more reasons now to include Kevin.
