There are a lot of players who returned from injuries this conference. Injury is an underrated part of basketball. It basically ended the contention of the Alaska Aces in the 2019 Philippine Cup when the Muscle Man, Vic Manuel failed to play.

So, who are the three players who are returning from injuries that will impact the performance of their team, the most?

#3 Vic Manuel
At this point, the Alaska Aces is already familiar with the injury-prone nature of Vic. They know that in a season, there will be a span that they will not have Vic Manuel at their disposal. Manuel is not yet at its top form as he is only averaging 11.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 0.7 assist, 1.3 steals and 43% FG per game. If you remember last 2018 Com. Cup, Manuel made his impressive 20+ points run. He is not capable to do that this conference but his team badly his scoring to get into another level in their next few games.

#2 Jerramy King
Before CJ Perez arrives this season, Columbian was the team of Jerramy King. In the 2018 Governors Cup, King averaged 20.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals, 45% FG and 37% 3FG per game. King is now back but not yet 100%. He only played 7 minutes against Magnolia Hotshots. If he returns to form, the Dyip can finally unleash their awesome threesome of King, Perez and McCarthy.

#1 Raymond Almazan
The Meralco Bolts just bet on Almazan to carry their franchise for the next five seasons. It will start this conference. Coach Norman Black though is slowly easing him to that role. In his first three games this conference, he produced 4.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 36% FG in 14 minutes per game. One thing that was missing in his first three games with the Bolts was an attempt from beyond the arc. Without any other giant in their roster, Almazan badly needs to get his act together to help Meralco this conference.
