Who should be the main local player of Gilas in 2019 FIBA World Cup?

(c) FIBA

The twelve players that will represent our country in the 2019 FIBA World Cup was already announced. If you are not aware, they are:

Point Guards - Kiefer Ravena, Mark Barroca, Robert Bolick
Wingmen - CJ Perez, Paul Lee, Gabe Norwood, Troy Rosario, RR Pogoy
Bigmen - Andray Blatche, Junemar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan

What I love about this line-up is its youth. Only three of the local players may not be capable to be part of the 2023 FIBA World Cup line-up due to old age. So, eight of those players will get experience that they can also used in 2023.

Now, we all know that the focus of our attack will be Andray Blatche. Gabe Norwood will be our main lockdown defender. And I expect Kiefer Ravena to be our main point guard.

But, which local player should received the most minutes?

I believed the answer should be Troy Rosario.

Why?

Because he brings the most number of things into the table. He is our best option as our off-movement shooter even though RR Pogoy is the best at doing it. Why? Troy is 6'7. He will be a much easier target of passes than RR. We badly need an off-movement shooter in the floor because a lot of our players are on-ball types.

Troy doesn't need the ball to be effective. That will be huge in cultivating synergy in our system.

Also, his length and athleticism is needed in our wing. He could be the glue guy of our offense due to his agility and length. He will help a lot in terms of rebounding and will make sure that the height of our team will not be too small for our opponents to take advantage.
