PBA Trade Rumor: Banchero is again, on the trade block?

According to our sources, the movements in the camp of the Alaska Aces are not yet over. If you are not aware, a lot of Alaska players were linked to trade rumors as they pushed the management to change their old coach, Alex Compton.

Only one trade has happened and none of the Aces that were linked into those rumors were part of it. Actually, two of those players have received contract extensions from the franchise.

According to the buzzes, Chris Banchero was supposed to get an extension too. Unfortunately, our sources are saying that the trade will not happen anymore and that Banchero is back into the trade block.

So, which team are asking for Chris?

Surprisingly, the team that is asking for him is Meralco Bolts. Yes, the same squad that has a very deep point guard rotation.

According to the source, Baser Amer is the current offer of Meralco and that is being countered by Alaska. For them, a one-on-one trade is not enough. They are asking for more.

It is kinda mind-boggling that Meralco wants another point guard even though they already have a lot and they even have a very promising rookie in Trevis Jackson.

It was rumored last month that they are looking to unload some of their point guards. By the looks of it, they did not find the right deal.

If Alaska make the trade, it is more about letting go of a player that wants out than anything else.
