Alaska Aces is on the right track

Alaska Aces is currently at the bottom of the standings. They did not win any of their first three games. And two of those games were not even close.

Ginebra pummeled them into a 21-points defeat. While San Miguel overpowered them to give them a 26 points L.

Those losses are hard to swallow. Even the first one against Columbian Dyip hurt a lot of Aces fans because of the difference in roster quality.

The beauty of the PBA is that, suffering now could open the door for a much brighter future.

If you are an Alaska fan, you should simply endure the pain now because every defeat that your team gets means the higher your pick will be in the upcoming 2019 PBA draft.

The Alaska Aces are currently at the #2 spot! Yes, that is the result of NLEX and Columbian having a nice start in this conference. There is a good chance that NLEX and Columbian will not sustain it but if Alaska keeps on losing, they may really end up with a top 3 pick, at least.

Right now, the projected 2019 PBA draft is loaded with bigmen that Alaska still needs. Yes, Abu Tratter was a nice addition to the franchise but he doesn't really have the size to go up against the giants in the league.

Isaac Go has that. Even Troy Rikes has that.

Now, if they feel like they need to just draft for talent, picking a Thirdy Ravena or a Joshua Munzon should be good enough. I have been a believer of Joshua Munzon. I think, he has the skillset and the physical attributes to be a top 5 player in the PBA.

If you are an Alaska fan. You better think about the future and salivate about the possibility of adding one of those guys.
