San Miguel Beermen failed again! Who should be blamed?

They failed again. After winning the first two conferences, San Miguel Beermen will once again succumb to Ginebra in the quarterfinals.

If you are a Beermen fan, there is a good chance that you will be having some nightmares in your next few sleeps.

But, before you start lambasting and finding a scapegoat for another failure, did you ever asked yourself of what the effect of this to the coaching staff, management and especially players of this 2019 team?

Fans will suffer from this for a week? Maybe, it could reach up to a month.

But how about the people who are on the team? A year? Nope. There is no way that they can easily embrace this failure again after twelve months, especially the players.

June Mar Fajardo, Chris Ross, Alex Cabagnot, Marcio Lassiter and Arwind Santos will go down in the PBA history as one of the greatest core to be ever assembled. But their dream of legitimizing themselves as the greatest ever, will remain a dream because they have failed to win the grandslam.

And those five will feel that failure for the rest of their lives.

Especially Arwind Santos, who was again in the middle of the controversy that challenged their camaraderie. The avalanche of hate that will come his way from the fans that supported him in the past will further pressed the pain of what happened.

And Fajardo? He may go down as the Greatest PBA player ever but I am pretty sure that there is a hole now in his heart that he can only close if he will get that grand slam.
