2019 PBA Mock Draft 9.0: Isaac Go may not be the #1 pick!

The 2019 PBA draft will happen soon. Yes, it is not a loaded draft but there are interesting names that deserved your attention. Before you judge this draft to be a weak one, at least get to know my projected first round picks!

#1 Columbian - Roosevelt Adams
Be prepared for a surprise. Adams'ability to hit three-pointers, plus size and athleticism will propel him to the top spot of this draft.

#2 Blackwater - Isaac Go
I do not buy the idea that Go is on his way to an MVP team. I just do not get the vibe that he is that kind of a player.

#3 NLEX - Sean Manganti
With a no clear hierarchy in this draft, I expect coach Yeng will go with his pet-archetypes like athletic forwards who could contribute on both ends.

#4 Alaska - Richard Escoto
Yes, the brother of Russell Escoto. Alaska's need is a bigman and shooters. How about a bigman who is willing to shoot and average at it?

#5 Rain or Shine - Rey Suerte

They are lacking a bonafide scorer. So, how about Suerte who was even compared to a Kiefer Ravena?

#6 Rain or Shine - Arvin Tolentino

If they are looking for a bigman, the best one to get at this point is Arvin Tolentino. He was once hype at the level of Ravenas in the college-rank but he never reached that point.

#7 NorthPort - Jerrick Balanza

Bonnie Tan is the coach of Letran. He is also the manager of the Batang Pier. The connection is so obvious that you can already lock this pick.

#8 Rain or Shine - Aaron Black

I expect this pick to be traded so I am going with the best guy available and that guy is Black. He could easily be the best stat-filler in this draft.

#9 Magnolia - William McAloney

Of course Magnolia will go for a bigman and McAloney is the best at this point. He is averaging 18.1 points, 10.7 rebounds and 55% FG per game in the MPBL.

#10 Ginebra - Val Chauca

They badly need a young point guard and they could end up being lucky because the best PG in this draft could slide to #10.

#11 TNT - Adrian Wong

The connection of TNT and Ateneo is so strong that Wong may end up in the 1st round. He will also fits well with TNT because of his three-point shooting ability.

#12 Columbian - Jaycee Marcelino

Want to make CJ Perez happy? Get one of his former teammates in Marcelino. The good thing is, Marcelino is actually deserving for this pick.
