2019 PBA Offseason Trade Targets Suggestion for Magnolia, San Miguel, Northport

The 2019 season of the PBA is down to three teams. Northport ended their amazing run in the hands of the Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel. Unfortunately for them, the injury bug hit them hard during the series.

So, who should be the targets of Northport, San Miguel and Magnolia?

Let us see.

NORTHPORT - A shooter
Northport actually has a very versatile line-up. They have a do-it-all star in Sean Anthony. And then an athletic stud in Paolo Taha. A 3-and-D in Kevin Ferrer. A defensive guard in Sol Mercado. A shooter in Garvo Lanete and etc.

If that is the case, adding a shooter is the best thing that they can do. Shooters further maximize the other skills of the players in the team. That makes an Arwind Santos a very interesting option because he is not only a shooter but also a great partner to Christian Standhardinger.

SAN MIGUEL - A 3-and-D player
For the most loaded team in the country, they actually do not need anything but if they are going to add another player, a 3-and-D type is the best fit. Those are the kind of players that does not need the ball to be effective.

Don Trollano of the Blackwater Elite is an interesting option for them. He is a scrapper who has a sustainable threat from beyond the arc.

MAGNOLIA - A center
Ian Sangalang needs some help in the middle. I have been a big fan of Rafi Reavis for a while now but father time will surely catch-up to him in the upcoming season. And other than Rafi Reavis, I do not think they have any other reliable center.

Of course, if the rumored Standhardinger trade will happen, their center position will suddenly become their deepest position. Although, there are rumors that, it may not happen in the immediate future.
