TNT trade problem: Castro and the veterans OR Bobby Ray Parks?

SMC versus MVP was supposed to be a big rivalry. We have not seen that as SMC sustained their dominance over MVP. Especially in poaching elite players.

Actually, TNT has managed to land two great young studs. I am talking about Terrence Romeo and Bobby Ray Parks. Remember what happened to Terrence Romeo? Remember the rumor that the veterans of the TNT forced the management to trade him?

According to the buzzes around the league today, there is a good chance that, that will happen again with Bobby Ray Parks.

So, Ray Parks and Terrence Romeo were really the problem?

Two young studs who kept their silence during controversies. Yes, they may not be the most approachable dudes in the PBA but I do not really think they have been a cancer in the teams that they have played for.

And if you think about it, why are these veterans pushing elite talents out of the door instead of trying to work it out with them? Why do they want the young studs  to be the one to embrace the culture that they have created instead of widening that culture so that those young studs could fit in?

Actually, why do the management of TNT keep on choosing the veterans when the last championship that they have delivered was five years ago?

Here is actually the biggest point. TNT should have a magnificent in-prime foursome of Parks-Pogoy-Romeo-Rosario in their hands. And they will still have a Jayson Castro to get the last guy to complete an amazing starting five.

Now, what they have is the possibility of losing Parks again for bench pieces. And the management will think that they have fixed their problem. Not realizing that the problem is still inside.
